    Promoting Smart Systems in JJ竞技(拉萨)登录手游’s Future Cities Program

    The technical assistance (TA) aimed to enhance operational knowledge of promoting pro-poor smart solutions with emphasis on poverty reduction and inclusiveness in five pilot cities: Bandung, Greater Suva Area, Mandalay, Tbilisi, and Ulaanbaatar. It endeavored to achieve this aim by developing knowledge and learning products; facilitating partnerships between cities; and conducting pre-feasibility studies on smart solutions to enhance and leverage city and business investments, and citizens’ potential.

    Pakistan: Revitalizing the Ecosystem of Ravi River Basin

    The objective of the technical assistance (TA) was to revitalize and build resilience in the Ravi River Basin in Punjab province, Pakistan through improved environmental water management. The TA aimed to address the pollution crisis by improving monitoring and enforcement capacity, filling regulatory and institutional gaps, raising awareness on pollution risks and cost-efficient ways to reduce pollution, and increasing levels of investment and public policy priority toward this crisis. This report validates the completion report's assessment of the TA.

    Pakistan: Update on Energy Sector Plan

    People's Republic of China: Yuxi–Mohan Subregional Railway Link Project

    The technical assistance (TA) was expected to prepare the due diligence documents required for the ensuing loan, i.e., Yuxi-Mohan Subregional Railway Link Project. This included technical, energy, economic and financial assessments, as well as documents pertaining to railway logistics subcorridor, multimodal hub, governance, safeguards, poverty and social analyses. The 503.9 kilometers (km) class I electrified main railway line would serve domestic traffic and have the potential to support intercountry traffic in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) in the future.

    The technical assistance was to support the proposed Revitalization of Informal Settlements and their Environments Using a Water-Sensitive Approach (RISE) Projects in Makassar city, Indonesia and in the Greater Suva Area (GSA), Fiji—which comprises Suva city and three municipal towns: Lami, Nasinu, and Nausori. Its expected outcome was an improved access to essential water-related service provisions in selected informal site settlements in Makassar and GSA.
