This letter of intent expresses the intention of the Asian Development Bank and Japan Water Agency to continue and expand the collaboration between their organizations to help introduce integrated water resources management in river basins through the Network of River Basin Organizations.

Key result areas of the cooperation include the development of knowledge products and services, capacity development for river basin organizations and water agencies, collaboration among knowledge hubs, supporting investment projects, and other activities that promote the agenda of integrated water resources management.
